The Last Weekend

In case you didn’t know or somehow have missed my incessant anxiety over it, I am hopefully somewhere over the Atlantic (as opposed to somewhere in the Atlantic) right now. Fingers crossed!  Anyway, this weekend  my parents very graciously agreed to come down and keep me occupied during my last weekend here. Or, they agreed to come down and keep me from going crazy from making lists of all the things that could possibly go awry (from my own stupidity obviously).

Pretty spot on.

Anyway, they came down and we ate a lot of food. My mom and shared this for breakfast one day:

That was totally good. We also had burgers, mexican food, a big ass salad, and some other things. It was a good weekend for eating. We also did some shopping. I bought some new throw pillows and my dad was pretty excited about them.

Happiness at its finest. We also saw Zero Dark Thirty.

Even better the second go round. I can’t believe how much I missed the first time.

After my parents left on Sunday, I spent some time with my little fat pumpkin.

And then I started to gather her things. DR6dce

And she knew. From there, I got a lot of attitude. Thankfully, I was able to safely deposit her with my sweet friend without any of this:

That’s me by the way. I made it to the gas station before I cried. Gold star for me. After sobbing my way home, I got some dinner together.

Gonna miss those guys. I also watched the Golden Globes. The folling are my favorite dresses. I could never ever wear them because  of my strange skin tone, love of carbs, and general lack of money and invitations to events to wear them to. Just a few barricades.

And I hope Tina Fey and Amy Poehler host everything for the rest of time. Ok, see y’all again one day, if India will give me access to the international internets.

  1. Damn, PB hearts are out. Now I will have to go to the store. I am sure you are still safely hurtling through space in a big tube of metal. Hope you land safely and gently.
